The semester’s over, and so is my cartography class. This was my final project. We could do a map of whatever we wanted, and since I’ll be in Alaska in about a week and a half, I figured a map of that state would be appropriate. This map focuses on Alaska’s federal lands, with specific attention to the eight national parks. This map was a lot of work, but it didn’t feel like work because I was having so much fun with it. Maps are fun.
